Where are the “No pipeline” and “No pump storage” protesters?

They should be holding “No battery backup” signs outside the proposed solar battery site in North Amherst.

Numerous news articles on lithium-ion battery fires around the world and here in the U.S. so far this year.

Last month in California a 182.5-megawatt PG&E Tesla battery site caught fire and had to be disconnected from the grid. Another adjacent 400-megawatt battery site overheated twice in the past year and was forced to shut down.

In February, a cargo ship transporting millions of dollars of electric vehicles to the U.S. catches fire and sinks. Reports indicate the car batteries started the fire.

In Australia in July, a Tesla battery storage site caught fire and burned for three days and required a Hazmat team to extinguish.

There have been all kind of reports across the country of battery fires in parked electric vehicles, prompting warnings from manufactures to owners to park their cars outside their home and not in an enclosed garage.

Lithium-ion batteries, burn at extremely high temperatures and produce noxious fumes. Battery fires can require evacuations and air quality warnings from local health officials due to the fumes.

Yet the so-called local “green environmentalists” resemble the three wise monkeys.

Protesting at the Amherst battery site doesn’t fit into their renewables narrative they have been preaching since global cooling turned into global warming, then into climate change (an oxymoron phrase) in my opinion.
